The CGA Super-Senior Match Play Championship hosted by King’s Deer Golf Club concluded Thursday afternoon, with David Nelson crowned as the champion following four days of competitive senior pod and match play.
The 20th CGA Women’s Senior Match Play Championship at Kings Deer Golf Club was filled with intense competition as players battled for a spot in the semi-finals. The championship features four pods in the Championship Flight and two pods in the First Flight Net Match Play.
The 55th CGA Senior Match Play Championship was hosted by RainDance National, the longest course in North America. From Monday to Wednesday morning, players competed in pod play.
After the completion of pod match play on Wednesday, the pod winners advanced to single elimination. The quarter-final and semi-final rounds will be played on Thursday and the 36-hole final will be played Friday at Lakewood Country Club.
