On the eve of attempting to Monday qualify for the upcoming TPC Colorado Championship at Heron Lakes, Zahkai Brown of Golden scored a July 4 victory in the Laramie (Wyo.) Open, earning $15,000 in the process.

The 2013 CoBank Colorado Open champion posted rounds of 64-65-66 for an 18-under-par 195 total and a one-stroke victory.
