The Broadmoor’s East Course, site of 2025 U.S. Senior Open, makes several national ‘best-of’ lists in recent months

It’s been a very busy last few months in Colorado golf — as is always the case during the warmest time of the year.
But before summer officially comes to an end later this month, we wanted to circle back and note the Colorado golf courses that have been included in national “best-of” lists published by prominent golf periodicals during the late spring and through the summer.
One layout — the East Course at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, which hosted the U.S. Senior Open early in the summer — appears a few different times in recent rankings. (Note: On Monday and Tuesday, respectively (Sept. 8-9), The Broadmoor’s East and West courses will host the new Broadmoor Ladies Invitation — once a high-level individual championship which is now a two-person better-ball team event.)
So, without further ado, here are how Colorado courses stacked up, according to the national publications. We’ll include the No. 1-ranked course in each ranking, along with the Colorado layouts:
