The CGA State Junior Championship launched in 2022 as a modern and elevated version of the historic CGA/CWGA Junior Stroke Play and Junior Match Play Championships and the JGAC Colorado Junior Amateur and Junior Match Play Championships. Showcase your skills against the state’s best! Compete in the marquee CGA State Junior Championship at the Home of the CGA for a chance to etch your name in Colorado golf history.
USGA Exemption Event: The following exemptions will be awarded based off of performance in the 2026 CGA State Junior Championship:
- Boys Champion: Exempt into 2026 U.S. Junior Amateur Championship
- Girls Champion: Exempt into 2026 U.S. Girls’ Junior Championship
How to Register
Step 1. Players must be an active member of the CGA/Youth on Course.

Important Notes
- Open Division: There are no qualifiers for this Championship. Entries for both exempt and non-exempt players will open at 8:00am MST on Monday, March 16th 2026.
- Exempt players will be notified and are accepted at the time of registration. Click HERE to view the exempt list.
- Non-exempt players will be placed on a pending list up until the close of entries, at which point the remaining allocated spots in the field will be filled according to the pending list, in order of the entrant’s GHIN Handicap Index (low-high) as of the close of entries.
- 13U, 11U Divisions: There are no qualifiers for these Championships. Registration is done on a first-come, first-served basis.
