The Colorado Golf Association is pleased to announce the Girls’ and Boys’ Junior America’s Cup Teams. The girls’ team will play at Kierland Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona, from July 20th to 24th. A week later, the boys’ team will compete at Columbia Edgewater Country Club in Portland, Oregon, from July 27th to 31st.
“This group of girls is competitive, confident, and highly skilled. We are thrilled that each of them has accepted the invitation to represent Colorado and anticipate a high team finish,” said team captain Cayla Regnery, CGA Manager of Programs.
Boys’ team captain and CGA Board Member Mark Crabtree stated, “Each of these athletes has won very high-profile events already this summer. We are confident that momentum will carry forward at this year’s Junior America’s Cup competition.”
Boys’ Junior America’s Cup was established in 1973, while Girls’ Junior America’s Cup was later established in 1978. Eighteen state teams comprise the field for the championship.
