2025 Colorado Pacific Coast Amateur Team

The Colorado Golf Association is pleased to announce its Morse Cup team for the 2025 Pacific Coast Amateur, which will be held at Eugene Country Club, July 22-25. This year’s team is comprised of three highly competitive players: Colin Prater, Hunter Swanson, and Ty Holbrook.

Serving as the team captain is CGA Board Member and former college golf coach Mark Crabtree. “We are thrilled to have each of these standouts represent Colorado in this year’s Pacific Coast Amateur Morse Cup Team. Their high level of play will position Colorado to be a top-team finisher,” said Crabtree.

Colin Prater 2025 CGA Match Play Champion

Accomplishments:

  • 2025 CGA Match Play Champion
  • 2024 CGA Les Folwer Player of the Year and Mid-Am Player of the Year
  • 2024 U.S. Open
  • 3-Time CGA Amateur Champion

Hunter Swanson is a junior at the University of Colorado.

Accomplishments:

  • Current WAGR ranking: 450
  • 2025 CGA Four-ball Champion
  • 2025 U.S. Open Final Qualifying Medalist
  • 2024 Elite Amateur Series—round of 32 at North and South Amateur
  • 2024 CU season—T5 at Maui Jim Invitational with collegiate career-best 65
  • 2024 and 2023 Pacific Coast Amateur Team
  • 2022 Colorado Golf Hall of Fame Future Famer
