The 2025 CGA Women’s Four-Ball Championship (Brassie) took place Monday and Tuesday at Mariana Butte Golf Course in Loveland, Colorado. The team event involves two competitors playing as partners, each playing their own ball, but the lower of the partner’s scores counts as the team score for each hole. This year the competition featured 6 flights, with nine teams in each flight playing 36 holes over two days, with gross and net competitions.
At the conclusion of the first round, the team of Jolene Wong and Neige Dunn lead the Gross Championship flight with a one-under score of 71, while two teams were tied for the Net Championship flight with an impressive 8-under par 64. Two teams were tied with a gross score of 73 at the top of the First flight: Karen Leuschel and Laura Wetzel, as well as Nina Dulacki and Tanya Haave, while Leuschel and Wetzel also led the net category of their flight with a score of 64 (8-under par).

After another 18 holes on day 2, Jolene Wong and Neige Dunn were able to maintain their lead and secure the Gross Championship flight victory, submitting a 4-under par 68 for a two-day total of 139 (-5). Brittany Roberts and Taylor Bridges were consistent, with another net score of 64 (8-under par) and winning the Net portion of the Championship flight a two-day total of 128 (-16). Additionally, playing in the Championship flight with Beverly Hoffenberg, Nancy Ziereis scored a hole-in-one on the fourth hole, a 147-yard par 3 on day two of the competition, creating an exciting round for their team.
Haejeong Son and HeeJeong (May) Kim won the Gross competition in the First flight, having also finished the second round with a 4-under par round of 68, for a two-day total of 145 (+1). Kim and Son also managed to finish second in the Net division, but were ultimately defeated by the team of Karen Leuschel and Laura Wetzel, who were able to win the net division of the First flight with a second round score of 67 and a two-day total of 131 (-13). Both the Net and Gross winning teams in the First flight repeated victories in each of their respective categories for the second year in a row.
Leanna Rosenow and Trish Swanson won the Gross division of the Second flight with a two-day total of 152 (+8) while Pam Cortez and Sue Knutson kept their lead from the first round of competition and secured the Net division victory for the Second flight with a two-day total 14-under par 130.
Ashley Barto and Cindy Ortega narrowly won the Gross division of the Third flight, defeating the second and third place teams via USGA scorecard playoff as all three teams finished with a two-day total of 161 (+17). Berta Thimmig and Dot Lindsey finished atop the leaderboard for the Net division of the Third flight with a two-day total of 129 (15-under par).
Fourth flight Gross winners Liz Sanchez and Mary Jo Turner finished the two-day tournament with a total score of 169 (+25), besting the second place team by only 1 stroke. The team of Bernadette Liley and Connie Garcia won the Net division of the Fourth flight with a two-day total of 133, 11-under par.
The Gross division of the Fifth flight was won by Laura Laux and Lynn Larson, finishing with a total score of 183 (+39). The Net division of the Fifth flight was won by Karen Desantis and Rose Rismanchi, with a final two-day score of 9-under-par 135.
