55th CGA Senior Match Play Championship Photos

The 55th CGA Senior Match Play Championship was hosted by RainDance National, the longest course in North America. From Monday to Wednesday morning, players competed in pod play. During the first three rounds of pod play, players earn one point for a win and half a point for a tie. The player with the most points in each of the 16 pods will advance to single-elimination matches, starting Wednesday afternoon. The 16 pod winners will compete against each other on Wednesday afternoon in the quarterfinals, where eight will advance to the semifinals on Thursday. The final match will take place on Friday morning.

Semi-finals Success

Jon Lindstrom and Steve Ivan triumphed in their matches, setting the stage for a showdown on Friday morning. 2023 Senior Match Play Champion, Jon maintained his strong momentum, winning his match with a 6&5 victory. Meanwhile, Steve Ivan delivered a spectacular performance, highlighted by an incredible hole-in-one on the 14th hole, ultimately securing his win with a 4&2 finish.
