Polk Looks to Defend at Senior Amateur Championship

2021 CGA Senior Amateur Champion, Robert Polk (Colorado Golf Club), is tied for the lead at 1 under- par (71) after the opening round of the CGA’s 2022 Senior Amateur Championship, held at Pelican Lakes in Windsor.

Three others are tied with Polk after Day 1. John Hornbeck (Central Rockies E-Club), Victor Minovich (Foothills GC), and Jeff Slupe (Pelican Lakes Golf and CC) all sit at 1 under-par. 

Pat Stanton of Breckenridge Golf Club is even after today’s round. Several others are also within striking distance. Play continues on Wednesday, September 14 and finishes onThursday, September 15th.
