Kent Moore’s bid to win his fourth CGA Super-Senior Match Play remains alive after a quarter-final win at The Broadlands Golf Course in Broomfield. Moore defeated John Sostman of Overland Park Golf Course 7 and 6 to win his Pod during morning play and then defeated Jim Reynolds of Bear Creek Golf Club on the first hole of sudden-death in the afternoon quarters.
Moore will face Ben Hargis of Colorado Golf Club who upset 2019 Super Senior Champion, Sean Forey of Rolling Hills Country Club, with a par on the second hole of sudden-death in quarter-final play.
The remaining semi-final match pits Dave Nelson of Columbine Country Club and Greg Mokler of Harmony Club. Nelson, defeated Robin Bradbury of TPC Colorado 3 and 2 and Mokler defeated Rick George of Castle Pines Golf Club 1-up.
