Two University of Denver teammates posted top-10 finishes on Monday at the Agave Amateur in Indio, Calif.

Sophomore Connor Jones of Westminster tied for sixth place and junior Carson Griggs of Sand Springs, Okla., shared ninth place.

Jones, the 2019 Colorado Junior Match Play boys champion, went 64-69-71 for a 9-under-par 204 total, which left him eight strokes behind Baylor golfer and Dallas resident Mark Reppe, the champion (62-66-68).
