Dear Molly: The golf course was running five minutes early on a recent weekday morning so we teed off, but we had to wait for our companions.
Kevin Laura, President of Green Valley Ranch Golf Club, was recognized for 20 years of serving as the USGA Regional Affairs Committeeman for Colorado this week. The USGA annually recognizes Committee Members with 5, 10, 15 and 20 years of volunteering. The Ike Grainger Award is presented in the Committee Members’ 25th year of volunteering.
Kevin serves on many boards, including Governor Emeritus at the Colorado Golf Association where he was President from 2006 & 2007. He is also CEO of the CO Open Golf Foundation, as well as a Director of the Western Golf Association/Evans Scholars Foundation and the Colorado Golf Hall of Fame.
