Nicklaus scheduled to participate in Doubles Golf presentation at Denver Golf CyberExpo on Saturday

The people and organizations who organize and support the Denver Golf Expo received a boost on Thursday, when it was announced on the eve of their “Cyber” show that Jack Nicklaus will participate in the Expo’s "Doubles Golf" PGA seminar during the 11 a.m.-noon hour on Saturday.

Nicklaus, winner of a record 18 professional major championships, is scheduled to be on the Doubles Golf session -- via live video -- with Colorado PGA executive director Eddie Ainsworth and Bob Longmire, co-founder of Doubles Golf with Nicklaus.

The seminar is titled, “An Introduction to Doubles Golf.”

Doubles Golf is a rebranding of the two-person scramble format, and is utilized both recreationally and competitively — through local leagues and larger-scale events. A 2021 Unites States Doubles Golf Am Championships is planned for The Bear’s Club, in Jupiter, Fla., in November 2021.
