In a preview of tomorrow’s final match, Kim Eaton of Greeley went toe-to-toe with Marilyn Hardy of Gunnison for the last day of Pod Play in the 2022 CGA Women’s Senior Match Play Championship. Eaton came out on top, finishing the match 3 up with 2 holes remaining. If Eaton, a Colorado Golf Hall of Famer, wins against Hardy on Thursday, July 21st, she will become the first CGA/CWGA competitor to win twenty-six championships, breaking fellow Colorado Golf Hall of Famer Carol Flenniken’s long-held record of twenty-five.

Jennifer Cassell of Denver will face Jane Ford of Westminster in the First Flight final on Thursday. Leanna Rosenow and Trish Swanson, who both play out of West Woods in Arvada, will compete for the top spot in the Second Flight while fellow West Woods player, Darlene Evans, goes up against Judy Maillis of Englewood for Third Flight honors.
