What Is Golf in Schools?

Golf in Schools is a collaborative program bringing no-cost golf instruction to Colorado students in grades K-12. Led by certified PGA/LPGA professionals, the program introduces students to golf through in-school instruction, established curriculum, hands-on equipment experience, and a field trip to CommonGround Golf Course.

Students learn golf fundamentals—putting, chipping/pitching, and full swing—while developing character through daily "words of the day" woven into each lesson. The curriculum addresses integrity, perseverance, sportsmanship, and respect, connecting physical education with character development.
