Former CU golfer Jeremy Paul set for 2026 PGA Tour debut after Monday qualifying for Farmers Insurance Open

Former University of Colorado golfer Jeremy Paul is no stranger to competing in PGA Tour events, having teed it up in 26 such tournaments last year as a rookie on that circuit. He made 13 cuts and posted a runner-up finish in the 2025 Corales Puntacana Championship.
But things have changed this year for the former Buff as he lost his fully-exempt spot on the PGA Tour at the end of last year and has been left with much-less-preferred conditional status.
But the native of Germany will make his 2026 PGA Tour debut this weekend after Monday qualifying for the Farmers Insurance Open that starts Thursday at Torrey Pines in La Jolla, Calif.
Paul earned one of the four Monday qualifying spots by shooting a 5-under-par 67 at Mission Viejo Country Club. He made an eagle on his 10th hole (No. 1 at the course) to go along with four birdies and a bogey on Monday.
Paul played in the Farmers last year as a PGA Tour rookie, but missed the cut after one round each at Torrey Pines’ South and North courses, posting scores of 76-73.
Paul finished 135th in the season-long FedExCup Fall point standings in 2025.
Joining Paul in Monday qualifying for the Farmers was Thomas Rosenmueller (65), Henrik Norlander (65) and Hunter Logan (67).
Other than Paul, players with strong Colorado ties in the Farmers field are Denver natives Wyndham Clark and Mark Hubbard.
