Several PGA Tour winners highlight field for Colorado Senior Open, including past CSO and Colorado Open champion Jonathan Kaye

The 2026 Colorado Open championship season will wrap up this week as the Inspirato Colorado Senior Open will draw a field that includes numerous winners of PGA Tour and PGA Tour Champions events.
The $80,000 tournament will run Wednesday through Friday at Green Valley Ranch Golf Club in northeast Denver, where the winner (or the low pro) will receive $15,000.
Among the entrants are part-time Boulder resident Jonathan Kaye (winner of two PGA Tour titles), Coloradan Gary Hallberg (three PGA Tour wins and one on the Champions circuit), Willie Wood (one on PGA Tour, two on Champions), Jim Carter (one on PGA Tour), Guy Boros (one on PGA Tour) and Shane Bertsch of Parker (one on Champions)
Out of those, Kaye and Boros have won the Colorado Senior Open — and Kaye has captured two Colorado Open titles.
Other players teeing it up this week include Jason Schultz of Dallas, winner of two CSOs in the last three years; past Colorado Open champions Bertsch, Kaye, Wood, Scott Petersen of Parker and Mike Zaremba of Pueblo West; past CSO champs Doug Rohrbaugh of Carbondale, Dave Arbuckle of Colorado Springs, Ron Schroeder, Britt Pavelonis, Kaye, Zaremba, Boros and Schultz.
Former national Senior PGA Professional Champions Matt Schalk of Erie and Steve Schneiter from Sandy, Utah are in the field, as are past CSO runners-up Jon Lindstrom of Denver and Brian Cooper of Castle Pines; PGA Tour veteran Skip Kendall; and four-time Colorado PGA Professional Champion Micah Rudosky of Cortez. Former NFL quarterback Tommy Maddox and former U.S. Senator Mark Udall of El Dorado Springs are also scheduled to compete.
