Wyndham Clark's stellar final season of college golf is certainly paying dividends as he begins his professional career.

The Coloradan has landed spots in at least three PGA Tour events in the next month thanks to sponsor exemptions.

He'll play his first PGA Tour event -- and first tournament as a professional -- this week, starting Thursday, at the Travelers Championship in Cromwell, Conn. The 2010 CGA Amateur champion was also given spots in the field for the Quicken Loans National, scheduled for June 29-July 2 in Potomac, Md., and the John Deere Classic, set for July 13-16 in Silvis, Ill.

After receiving the Travelers berth, Clark said on Twitter, "Thank you @TravelersChamp for the invite. I'm so excited to make my pro debut at such a great course and event!"

Clark won three individual college titles during his senior season at the University of Oregon, including the Pac-12 Championship on April 30 at Boulder Country Club. In helping the Ducks finish NCAA runners-up as a team, Clark was one of three finalists for both the Fred Haskins Award and the Ben Hogan Award, each awarded to the best of the best in men's college golf.

Clark, 23, has the distinction of being the Player of the Year in two different conferences -- the Big 12 in 2014 (while at Oklahoma State) and the Pac-12 in 2017 (while at Oregon).

The Travelers Championship will be televised by the Golf Channel on Thursday at Friday from 1:30-4:30 p.m. (MT).

(June 30 Update: Clark missed the cut by 12 at the Travelers Championship, posting scores of 78-74 for a 12-over-par 152 total. But he made his first Tour cut at the Quicken Loans National, where he shares 37th place after two rounds, going 72-70 for a 2-over-par 142 total.)
